A hospital-based cancer center is seeking a radiation oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Vincennes, Indiana.
This is an outpatient clinic-based opportunity with a Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule. The provider will see an average of 815 patients per day, consisting of follow-ups and consults, while all other patients will wait for the return of their regular physician. Hospital privileges are required, with a credentialing timeframe of about 45 days. The clinic uses EPIC for EMR and treatment planning, and procedures include IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT. Equipment details are pending clarification from the client. The support team includes a clinic nurse, four therapists, one dosimetrist, and a physicist who is on-site twice a week and available by phone the rest of the time. Board certification and an active state license or IMLC are required to submit candidates.
