iHire Earns Two 2018 Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE) Awards

Frederick, MD (April 2018) – iHire has been acknowledged for their exceptional workplace practices in the form of two AWE Awards: Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval Award and Health and Wellness Seal of Approval Award. This is the sixth consecutive year iHire has been recognized by the AWE.

The Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval Award recognizes companies who show an outstanding commitment to balanced leadership and the overall success of their workforce. They are evaluated in multiple areas including corporate culture and management practices, family- and employee-friendly policies/programs, employee growth and learning opportunities, diversity and inclusion, and commitment to corporate, social, and civic responsibility.

The Health and Wellness Seal of Approval Award is given to organizations providing innovative programs for their employees such as health risk assessments, healthy food options, educational programs, access to healthcare professionals, and initiatives that support physical activity.

All award recipients undergo a rigorous assessment process led by an independent review panel of business professionals and master’s and Ph.D.-level students in the fields of business, industrial and organizational psychology, human resources, environmental science, public health, and diversity and inclusion. 

The AWE will host their 19^th Annual Awards Celebration on June 8, 2018 at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center. A total of 46 employers will be recognized for their exemplary commitment to building excellent places to work in Montgomery County, MD and throughout the United States. The event is anticipated to have approximately 200 business executives in attendance, primarily from Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
