iHire Earns Two 2015 Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE) Awards

Frederick, MD (May 2015) – iHire has been acknowledged for their exceptional workplace practices in the form of two AWE Awards: Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval Award and Health and Wellness Seal of Approval Award.

The Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval Award recognizes companies for outstanding corporate culture, management methods, work environment flexibility, and employee engagement/communication programs. iHire is a Results-Only Work Environment (ROWE), evaluating employees on their performance (rather than their presence) and focusing on results and self-management.

The Health and Wellness Seal of Approval Award is given to organizations that demonstrate superiority in health and wellness education, awareness, and assessment initiatives. Monthly educational programs, newsletters, wellness challenges, healthy food options, and gym discounts are among iHire’s various wellness offerings.

All AWE award recipients undergo a rigorous assessment process led by an independent review panel of business professionals and master’s- and Ph.D.-level students in the fields of business, industrial and organizational psychology, human resources, environmental science, and public health. The evaluation also includes a comprehensive employee survey.
